For now.. gonna bore the 2.8 up to a 3.0 .. put a bigger cam in it.. better carb.. maybe a new intake mani.. headers.. polish and prep it all. I may V8 swap it, but for now, it has plenty of motor.

they still sell parts for the 2.8?? i know it was dicontinued years ago and they have a 3.1,3.4 retrofit now... im sure you could also do the 3.9 v6 they have in the police impalas... mounting is the same as a 3.4 if im not mistaken. just a thought if you feel like getting creative

haha they do have parts here and there for the 2.8.. but a new carb alone is 400 bucks... and any motor swap is out of my budget really.. all thats wrong with this one is an oil leak.. and that only about 300 bucks worth of parts... so im going to go that.. i wasnt aware of any of those other 3.X series v6 swaps... you have any info on that?
